This Expedition Ship is ready to take you and your guests in stabilized comfort and safety for long rang cruising.  Beauport (her original and current name) has been lovingly maintained by her owner, who has kept up a tradition for keeping her in top shape.  She has an excellent, professional and very economically conscious crew of 6.  She has had significant benefits from refits in 1999/2000/2002/2008 and 2010 since her original conversion in 1993.  BEAUPORT’S interior is NOT Spartan; it is a very comfortable yacht configuration and finish.  Her exterior finish is a non-faired, gloss finish, in excellent

condition and rust free.

Originally built for the Canadian Coast Guard in Quebec, Beauport was designed, constructed and classed for light icebreaking, exceeding Lloyd’s specifications and spent her first 30 years operating year round in fresh water on the St. Lawrence Seaway, originally accommodating a crew of 34. In 1993, when she was converted to a luxury yacht, there were a number of cabins removed to make way for guest accommodations, a large master cabin and a main salon. In 1999, Beauport was moved to Jacksonville, where she underwent a 6 month mechanical refit of all engines and operating systems, where in the owner spent more than 4 million dollars on the upgrades. In the spring of 2002 new John Deere 115KW generators with hospital grade sound shields were installed as well as a back-up 150 KW Isuzu, a massive 8 Ton hydraulic deck crane and Koopnautic 40 sq ft stabilizers. She is tremendously stable & efficient burning only 34 gallons per hour at cruise for both engines and one of her generators. Recently surveyed;  if you are in the market for a large volume, economical long range expedition yacht, BEAUPORT warrants your close attention.
